Beautiful Boracay

I painted this an hour ago. I'm in a middle of doing construction drawings in my current architectural project. I painted this to get a dose of my "watercolor fix". The scanned image does not do the painting justice. I guess it's time to invest in a good camera.

Here's one of the views of Boracay. I took this picture on my first trip to the island in 2006. The powder white beach with the indeterminate bluish green waters are the reasons why one should visit this place.

Let Them Eat Cake

EMOVERE of the moment: CHARMED!!!
Imagine Marie Antoinette roaming the vast gardens of Versailles.

To roam the manicured lawns and flower beds means to work up a huge appetite. It's no big secret that she eats so heartily. To wander within these beautiful gardens could make you lose your resolve...to both the beauty and abundance of things around her. No wonder she can't help but say, "Let them eat cake"...

When Life Hands You Lemons

EMOVERE of the moment: JUICED! :D
When life throws you lemons, you make lemonade. The watercolor painting is the literal translation of the cliched adage. When life hands me watercolor, I make paintings. hahaha... Happy viewing! :)
